When replacing four wheels because the tread is low, why is it alignment necessary? What problems occur if the alignment is skipped?

You only need a alignment if the car is out of alignment.If it's out of alignment and you get new tire's and don't have it aligned the tire's will wear out unevenly and prematurely.
