Transmission problem
2003 Acura TL 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hello i have a 2003 acura 3.2 tl i was driving normal speed limit yesterday all of a sudden the car began to jump or jerk it did it about three times then the malfunction lamp came on as well as the traction control indicator in the car before i slowed down and pulled over. When i pulled over, i checked the trans fluid on the dipstick it looked very thin and faint the color was dark. Then attempted to add trans fluid to the resevoir but i didnt have a good funnel so there might not have been enough fluid getting into the resevoir. from there i drove it started jumping again so i maintained driving like 20 mph until i reached home. drove to auto zone they performed a diagnostic test, the results said gear shift ratio incorrect so i then purchased lucas oil for slippage and leaks in the transmission i poured half into the resevoir but it still jumped a little but only when coming to a stop at times. went to jiffy lube, did the diagnosis and same results gear shift ratio incorrect. Just want to know what is the usual problem when that test result says that message

If there's a code for gear shift ratio incorrect, you will need a new trans.
