2000 Acura TL suspected tranmission trouble

My acura tl just started reving high and is slow to shift in low gears. It is intermittent at this time. Is this the beginning of my transmission trouble that I have read about on other web sites?

Hi 2000acuratl,

Check the trans fluid level and condition first. If level is good with the fluids slightly dark, then your worst fears are correct. The trans could be failing with the slipping condition.
