Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Acura RSX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Can someone tell me if I need to reach the starter from below or the top.

The top seems the best option, but I need to remove the intake throttle body houseing off. If so, is there are gasket that I will need to replace.

The bottom seems impossible, but if that is they way then I need advice on how to reach the top bolt and wires. I seems to tight to reach from the bottom.

Thanks,
Jason

To you have a type-s or premium model? (the 200hp or 160hp engine).

If you have the k20a2 or z1 (200hp) you must remove the front subframe damper and an intake manifold bracket, then you can access the starter.
