2002 Acura RSX 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 21000 miles

hi i just bouth a 02 acura rsx and the hatch wont open how do i get it open to figure out whats rong?

either the handle is broken or the cable is loose.
check behind the handle and if you see the cable just pull it back to release hood and push the lever under the hood upwards.
if you're talkin about the rear make sure to unlock the doors before pulling the door's handle and if you have a key, use the master not the valet.
or you'll need a new latch
