1999 Acura RL SPEEDOMETER CLUSTER

I replace temp. gauge and bulbs. When I installed it the tach. and speedometer do not work. The tach. goes to 2000 rpm. the speedo. goes to 55 mph and comes down slowly. what could I have done wrong or could have happened. thanks.

Recheck the wire connectors, one could be loose.
