How important is the regular maintenance needed and what is the average cost? I did one at 60,000 miles and 75,000 but did not do the one required at 90,000. Sometimes I feel that this service is over-rated and over-charged.

all service should be done, as maintenance is required. as for the cost, well every shop has it own price, they are not the same.
