Electrical problem
1997 Acura RL Automatic

My rear passenger window will not go up or down. I am not sure if its the motor or if I need to replace the regulator.

Can you please advise me the diffrence between a motor gone bad and a regulator gone bad.

Thanks.

A bad motor would not have any noise from the motor working when operated.

A bad regulator would have the glass moving partially.

Motor and regulator comes as an assy and if either one is faulty, complete assy has to be replaced.
