I'm pretty good with cars - even built my own code reader for OBD-I (95 Mercedes), but this has me stumped.

I can't get "Maintenance Required" light on dash to turn off. I've read codes with Actron - no codes stored. I've cleared codes even though none stored.

Tried typical GM tricks - key on, gas pedal to floor 3 times.

Still can't get light to turn off.

Any advice?

Try holding the reset to the trip odometer and while holding it turn on the key to the run position. The vehicle does not need to start. Keep holding the button until the light goes out or actually should turn green I think.
