1997 Acura RL Dash Malfunction

The dash in my car suddenly went out completely. There is no illumination, and the only dial(meter) that works is the gas, but it also is not illuminated. Could you give me the rundown on what could cause this?

Sorry for the delayed answer, the taillights are fine, the reverse light isn't working though.

Hi Rafael ,

If the taillights are working, you need to check the dimming control unit and the dash bulbs.

If the reverse lights are not working, you need to check the fuse, bulbs and gear inhibitor switch.
