2007 Acura RDX

I get a groan/hum noise on my 2007 Acura RDX that only lasts a second or two right after I start the ignition. Sounds like its coming from the steering or brakes. It happens particularly when the engine is cold. Is this normal?

sounds more like the tell-tale signs of your starter going bad.
steering wouldn't make a sound while you are stationary except if its fluid or belt related.
the only sound from brake system when you are stationary is from the abs modulator and your car is too new for those symptoms
