Newly acquired Acura, Battery failed in first 2 weeks and engine quit, towed to dealer, replaced battery and they reported that was the only problem.

Now car has limited power, hardly runs when any electrical load is applied - blower, seat heater etc.

I do not drive many miles, only 2 miles daily to work.

Hi MRSonet,

I doubt the fault is with the battery. Get the charging system checked. The alternator could be faulty and not providing sufficient charge. When this occurs, insufficient power is available and would affect the performance of the engine. The battery would be drained sooner or later.
