2003 Acura MDX Short in instrument panel

I plugged in a power inverter into the armrest console. It sparked and the radio shut down and the instrument panel in the middle went dark. We checked the spark plugs and disconnected the battery to try to reset it. What else could be wrong?

Hi there,

Check all fuses and fusible links, run a scan to see if you have a set fault code, if all ok you may have damaged the printed circuit board for that system, start here.
