2002 Acura MDX TCC Circuit Malfunction

The check engine light came on, so I hooked up to a code reader and received a code of P0749 TCC Circuit Malfunction. Dealer stated that I would need a new transmission, or can the the torgue converter be replaced.

Hi 2002acura,

P0749 = Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Intermittent.

It is not a fault with the TCC but I can't find any information on the diagnostics of this trouble code.

Since problem is intermittent, check for loose or contaminated wire connections.
