2004 Acura Legend Car idles fast and slow when in Park

2004 Acura Legend 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When the car is in park it sometime idles fast and slow. My battery died and and had to be jumped. Last time the battery was weak, before I replaced it, the same thing happened. Is this a coincidence or is there a connection between the battery charge and the fast and slow idling?

Hi millerman,

Electrical changes can cause surging. So does a dirty IAC valve or low radiator coolant.
