The message below is a reply i got from you guys today, thank you for your speedy response and i will give this a shot but i do need to know what the PW means that you referred to in the last sentence? thank you guys again for all of your help!!

Was old motor faulty? if no then Power Transistor in not providing ground mounted on blower unit. Check black wire on PT see if ground is present if not check behind right kick panel ground . If good the PW faulty

I believe that was a typo and was meant to say PT which is Power Transistor.
