Electrical problem
1993 Acura Legend 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 214.53 miles

Yesterday, the D (for Drive) started blinking and the speedometer did not move. I kept driving for 30 minutes and it did not record how many miles I drove.
The trip meter, odometer and speedometer are not working. This problem just started yesterday, and I have not have any accidents with the car.

I took it to my mechanic but he has not idea what to do. Any help would be really appreciated.
I do not have a lot of money now, as I am not working, been looking for quite sometime now. I would appreciate any advice where to take or what to do.

Hi helpwithacura,

Most likely the Vehicle Speed Sensor is bad causing the speedometer to stop working.

VSS is attached to the differential on lower right front of engine, near the oil filter.
