The temp guage goes up at 70+ mph and also in stop and go traffic. The overflow container fills with coolant fron the radiator. The heat does not work until the temp guage falls back to normal. Can you help me?
I replaced the thermostat and radiator cap but still does the same thing.

remove the actual radiator cap and check coolant level there. sounds like low on coolant. let us know how it is.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK IF FAN IS KICKING ON HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. FAN WOULD WORK INTERMIDDENT I HAD TO REPLACE FAN MOTOR
