Would you have any suggestion that maybe causing my vehicle to surge up and down when I place it in the Park position. When I go from Park to any other gear it stops. This does not happen every time I use the vehicle. If it is any help someone suggested that it is some type of Black box in front of the intake. (air mass sensor)
Thank you .Mr Fries

Hi Mr Fries,

Honda does not have MAF for your model.

Surging occurs when excessive air is getting past the throttle body and possible causes are :

1. Leaking vacumns.
2. Faulty Idle Air Control Valve.
3. Idling speed adjusted too high.
4. Lack of coolant in system.
5. Clogged coolant hoses to the IAC and Fast Idle Therno Valve.
