1993 Acura Legend brake fluid

Do you have any idea as to were the leak is? Have you checked for fluid on the inside of the tires? Does it seem to show signs of leaking where the brake master is bolted to the brake booster? Let me know what you know and we will go from there ok. Thanks.

the fluid leakd on the the tire rim. it was then slung a round the wheel well. i have looked along the hoses and not yet removed the caliper to find the leak. when i turned tyhe key to battery this morning both of the lights went off. but there is no fluid in the main resievor. 11.43am- just fininshed checking the claiper. there is no leaking from it. there is execess fluid around the brake lines/hoses. any ideas.

Great you found the leak that is good so after replacing the brake line wipe out and clean the master cylinder and flush out you brakes you have to bleed them anyway so you should just replace the fluid and make sure it is all clean. You should flush you brake system with new fluid every couple of yrs anyway as brake fluid is made to absorb moisture. Thanks for you support and if you need any more help just ask.

fixed the first leak. found a second leak. how easy/hard is it to remove the rigid line. the second was on the rigid line. any help....

To replace the pipes from caliper hose to mount at ABS master pump, you need to understand the routing of the pipe first.

Remove any components that might interfere with work and after loosening the joint flare nuts, remove/unloosen and clamps/clips that might be holding the pipe and remove the whole piece.

Some minor bending would be required to remove or install, just remember to be gentle with the bending and do not twist or bend them at acute angles.
