I changed the VSS last year with a used one. It worked fine for about 3 days, went haywire and then quit. This week I put another VSS in my car (that was working fine in a 1991 Legend) and the same thing happened again. It worked fine for a day, went haywire and then quit. What's going on?

Thanks.

Hi livewire5,

Either you are the lucky one, both VSS failed when installed to your vehicle or the wiring circuit is bad. Check if the connectors are contaminated or loose.
