i replace my water pupm but it doesent seem like water is flowing through my system is my new water pump bad or is it something else

Do the radiator hoses (top and bottom) feel about similar warmth. If one is hotter than the other, you may have a blocked off thermostat. In either case, I would replace the thermostat whenever I replace the water pump.
