I wanted to know if I could get an estimate of the total cost that it would take to replace the timing belt and the water pump at the same time in my vehicle. She is pushing over 210,000 miles now and it needs to be replaced very shortly. Thank you for your help!

Hi aellis31

The labor time for replacement of the water pump, timing belt and related parts is listed at 6.3 hours. Oil seals and tensioner replacement is another 0.8 hr. You have to multiply it with your local rates.

$ 61.49 = Timing belt
$ 87.47 = Timing belt tensioner
$ 12.88 = Camshaft oil seal X 4
$ 12.88 = Crankshaft oil seal
$ 260.50 = Water pump

Above are OEM listed parts and if after market parts are used, they should be much lower in cost.
