What would be the symtoms of a faulty ignition coil and ignition control module? I'm getting very poor gas mileage, engine miss as well as rough engine vibrations..I recently did a full tune up so I know the wires, plugs, distributor cap and button are new...

Thanks for your time

in general, when the two items you mention go bad, the vehicle will not run.

here are some thoughts. First off, was the car having the problems prior to the tune-up? If so, then I might look at the injectors, and when the plugs were pulled out of the vehicle what did they look like. Sometimes one will have a color that varies from the others which can help to narrow down.

has the vehicle had a compression check done? Have you looked the pcv valve and egr valve?
