Oil light blinked 1 time

1992 Integra, 166,000 miles. I've owned this car since new. A month ago I drove the car and the oil light started blinking. I shut the engine off, checked oil, oil level was fine. Oil pressure guage shows nother irregular. Oil is clean. Engine runs fine. Restarted engine and light was not blinking.
Light did not blink for a month then did it again the other day. What does this mean?

There are a number possibles here. One is a problem with the circulation of the oil. Another is the sensor itself. Another is a short in the wire for the sensor. Another is the idle might drop too low for a split second or so and thus activate the light.
