My Acura is burning 3quarts of oil a week but I dont see any leak. I put cardboard under car when I park it and it is clean. Grey smoke at 5000rpms between shifting gears. It also leaves an exhaust mark on ground when warming up. Please Help?

Hi bozobeebutler,

When valve seals hardens over time, they would result in oil consumption. Replacing them would grealy reduce the oils consumption. However you mentioned grey smoke at 5000 rpm, that would indicate worn rings.
