1999 Acura Integra idling problem

Well my hose that goes from the radiator to the engine went bad also leaked everywhere. So I changed it but now. The car idles up and down like it can't breath..and also it overheats

When this hose leaked did it loose a large quantity of coolant? did it over heat then? is it still using coolant?
