I was in the middle of driving and my car suddenly lost power. I tried accelerating but it was not picking up speed so I coasted to the side of the road and the engine died. Battery light and oil light came on. Shut off the engine, waited a few minutes and it started fine and I made it to my destination about 3 miles away with no problem. On the return trip, again, no problem starting or going. It starts just fine.

Hi lmatesan,

If problem happens only at high speed driving, the likely suspect would be a clogged fuel filter resulting in insufficient fuel. Another possible cause would be a failing fuel pump.
