I am hearing a grinding noise that seems to be coming from underneath my car and not from either side ( not from wheel well). This noise seems to come and go but seems to happen more frequently the longer I drive my car. I had the brake pads replace less than 1000 miles ago and I am not sure what is causing the problem. I have stop using my car until I can figure out what is causing the problem.

I assume the grinding noise comes when the vehicle is in motion. Have you considered that a wheel bearing most likely a rear one is going out?
