1998 Acura Integra car idleing when ac is on

1998 Acura Integra Manual 130,00 miles

Whenever i have the ac running if im stopped at a light for over a minute and its extremly hot outside my ac stops blowing cold air and my car starts idleing. If i turn off the ac it stops idleing and its fine.

Hi there,

Ensure that the A/C fan is turning on with the the system, i feel that this may be causing the system to over heat and shut down.
