I have the factory stereo still installed and Iam getting a weird message across the front of it when I insert any kind of cd! And if the cd works in the unit after installing it 6 times every bump I go over or anything of that sort It ruins my cd. I curretly needed new motor mounts because my motor is shifting would that have anything to do with my stereo issue? Should I purchase an aftermarket stereo to install to see if I have the same issue with it?

What kind of message? DISC means that there is a problem with the disc you are inserting. ERR-E1 thru E7 means that there is an internal problem with the factory audio unit, ranging from the rollers to the laser itself. Either way, I doubt you can repair an audio unit.
It happens more because of age than anything else.
The aftermarket unit is a personal preference, so you will have to decide for yourself.I suggest you check prices first, though.
