I own a 1997 acura integra GS AT. Every time I put my car into reverse it makes a terrible clanking and rattling noise I just had 2,000.00 worth of work done to my car when i had the motor mounds replaced which was maybe 2 months ago, what else could be the issue? Another issue is that when I drive my car not even 50 miles when I get out of it I smell a terirble burning smell and I dont know what could be causing any of this, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to inspect the catalytic converter, is the noise from underneath? or from the engine area?

The smell is something you might want to investigate. it could be helpful to know more about what the smell is like. For instance, a smell of rotten eggs or sulfer could be a battery being overcharged. You might want to see if the smell is associated with the tranny or an oil leak on to say the exhaust system.
