When I turn my right flasher with my head lights off it causes my clock and dash lights to dim. However when my head lights are on my flasher stays solid until my lights are turned off whether the flasher is turned to the on possition or not. Also when I was tinkering with the front light bulb when I move the wires some it skips back and forth from fast to slow. I was thinking it was either the bulb is incorrect or the wires are loose on the base. Whats going on with it?

Hi earon87,

The flasher relays are set for a certain current flow and removing a bulb would cause it to flash faster due to the increase in current flow through lesser bulbs. That is normal.

Regarding the dash lights dimming when the flasher are on I would suggest checking for a bad ground wire for the turn signals and combination lamps. When there is a bad ground, current flow would reverse through the combuination light circuit resulting in it affecting the dimming circuit.
