I have a 96 Acura Integra GS-R Hatchback, the drivers side door lock cannot be manually locked from the inside and will not lock when i hit the auto lock button, but the passenger side works perfectly. The only way to lock the driver's side is manually from the outside. What do you think the problem is, where could i get the part that needs to be replaced, and how hard would it be to replace myself?

Hi jcamper,

Listen for the door lock actuator working when using the auto lock button to lock/unlock. If there is indication of the catuator movement, the manual link of the actuator has dropped off due to a broken clip. Replacing the clip would solve the problem.

If the door lock actuator has to be replaced, you could either get it from the dealer or the junk yard.

Replacement is not too easy unless you are mechanically inclined.
