Press the Cruise Control button and light indicator is on. Speed the car 70 mph, press the set button, release the gas pedal and it doesn't keep the speed. What steps to trouble shoot should I do know what is wrong?

try just speed up to the speed u want then hold on to the set button for a few seconds
