I just started my car after a year of not using it and when I started it up it was making poping noises and it blew out some smoke and after a couple of minutes I noticed that the catalytic converter was glowing. Should I try to start it again? It also had a difficult time idling? Any help or suggestions as to what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.
