Sometimes when I try to start my car I have to hold the key in the start position for a while before the car starts. The car usually always starts. But sometimes it won't and when I come back 20 minutes later it will start after I hold it. I've noticed that one of the wires on a clip attached to the throttle body has ben cut by the previous owner. I'm not really sure what to think. Any ideas?

Hi there,

I would have the cut wire investigated and also have the fuel pressure checked, try turning on the key to on, hold for a few sec and turn off, then re start as per normal, let me know if that helps with the hard start.
