original started with heating problems, then clicking in the alternator area, then wierd sulfur smell and difficulty starting. Fuses change starts but surges

Hi begin2search,

When surging occurs, it could be due to insufficient coolant and the weird noise at alternator area could be due to a bad water pump.

Surging can also be due to vacumn leakages.
