The hazards don't work?

My 1991 Integra GS 1.8L has 229000 miles. The hazards don't work. If the hazard switch is in the 'on' position, it makes the signals not work either. If you turn the hazard switch off, the signals work again. Is the hazard switch bad or is it a relay somewhere?
Thanks for your help.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a defective flasher relay.

That relay is located under the steering wheel (see diagram).

On that relay there are separate pins for different functions. The hazard and turn signals have different pin. So it is possible to have just the hazard not working but the turn signals do.
As for not having turn signal when you press the hazard switch, it is by design works that way. So it is not the switch.

I have attached the diagram for your reference.

Thank you.
