1990 Acura Integra tapping noise

hey how are yall doing, well I just installed new pistons on my car , it was me and my friend and you know I put new head gasket and itake manifold gasket but I dint put ne rod bering slipped my mind , so put everything togeher torqued everything and it turned on , and they told me I needed to get the valves adjusted , so this morning it started to make this horrible tapping noise but not like the rod whent out . so some one told me it was going to be the the rod bering , but the noise is coming from the lifters , can anybody gide in the right dirrection.

Hi there,

Check the valve clearances as one or more may be far to large causing the tic.
