1990 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 200k miles

we are trying to change our rear brakes and we need to know which way to turn the brake tool -to the right , or the left - inorder to widen the gap to put in the new pads?

To get the caliper back in, turn it clockwise.
