1990 Acura Integra noise from wheel area

I have a 1990 Acura Integra that's making a grinding/scraping noise in the front left wheel. The sound becomes audible at about 15mph, speeds up with road speed, and does not change with engine rpms. Putting the car in neutral, braking, or turning the steering wheel make no difference. The noise is louder when it's cold, and sometimes becomes a high pitched squeal. The noise seemed to go away completely in the rain. I've already tried all of the following: 4 wheel alignment (which I needed anyway), brake pads & hardware & resurfaced rotors on whole car(which I also needed anyway), front left wheel bearing, CV joint & intermediate axle shaft, and even a different tire. Now my car rides smoother and it's a little quieter, but the grinding/scraping noise is still there. What am I missing?

One suggestion is to do a really simple thing. Look at the back side of the disc assembly at the shield. They get pushed around and normally ride very close to the turning rotor. But with age they get weaker and can be pushed in to the rotor and touch very gently causing the sound you are hearing. Just a thought. It can be bent back out a bit to stop it.
