1989 Acura Integra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a fresh charge on my batt. and all i get is clicking so i pulled the starter and jumped it the solenoid jumped and the shaft spins what is wrong

Do you mean the starter cranks when battery voltage is applied to the starter soleanoid?

Check the wire connection from ignition switch to starter solenoid. Did you check the starter solenoid wire connector for firmness when installed?
