1987 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

My 87 Acura Integra hestitates and seems to briefly struggle with power when shifting gears and simultaneously accelerating. At the same time the tachnometer on the dash goes nuts and bounces around. What could the problem be?

Hi 8ballbrat,

The ignition coil and/or ICM is bad and you need to check /replace them, in the distributor assy.
