2001 Acura CL rear pads or calpers

Brakes problem
2001 Acura CL Front Wheel Drive Automatic 66,000 miles

Hi...my usual repair person had an accident and unavailable but on my last inspection before the accident he mentioned that I would need rear pads for my brakes. Since he is not available, I went to anothe shop which told me I need calipers not brakes, who would be correct, thanks.

Hi firtygirl,

Without understanding the reason what is wrong, it is not possible to say who is correct.

Why do the calipers require replacement and if they are required to be replaced, chances are you would need to replace the pads as well.
