Drivers side windshield wiper blade goes beyond the window when operating on high speed

Is it out of position when it is down? If the arms were ever off at one point they could have been reinstalled one notch out of position. The Arm connects to a stud that rotates at the bottom of the windshield. The stud has a grooved outer diameter. The arm could be installed out of place

I feel you need to put a new blades on your wiper system as they are really making a noise as they goes beyond the window. Usually, If the blade is older than 12 months, performance will be substantially worse than what it was when the blade was new.
