1997 Acura CL

I'm replacing a passenger-side front axle. I have the old one out and I'm trying to insert the new one into the transaxle. It's a tight fit. Is it OK to use grease on the inner spindle? Do I have to worry about this grease getting in the transaxle?

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

It does not matter if some grease get into the trans.

Try turning the shaft while trying to push it n.
