AC is blowing hot

200 MILES • 4.7L • V8 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I have added Freon, clutch is turning and activating, still blows hot. Is there a fuse or anything else I could check? Thanks

Hello, I am Danny.

It sounds like you are have trouble with the Blend Door Actuators.There a two, a left hand, and right hand located on the HVAC unit located under the dash. I have attached a few pictures showing the location and what they look like. They are basically electric motors that open/close doors to direct airflow hot/cold through the air ducts. I have also attached a link showing how to replace. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
