Whining noise when accelerating

Hi,

I recently noticed that the car makes a whining noise when accelerating after the car has been sitting for awhile/the engine is cool. Once the engine is at normal operating temperatures (about ten blocks or three to five minutes), the sound totally goes away. There are no performance issues that are obvious. This acceleration noise happens when just going straight as well as if the AC is on or off. I recently replaced the serpentine belt.
