First, I would suggest you visually see if any part of the bumper bar has touched the radiator.
Is the radiator deformed in any way?
Next, I would recommend a cooling system pressure test and check for leaks while the system is under pressure. Also check if the pressure falls off, indicating a possible leak in the cooling system.
